Community

We are always looking for volunteers to help us bring joy into the lives of our parish members and neighbors in the local community. With all of our special events and group outings, we aim to create spaces and experiences where families and friends can have fun while spending quality time together.

Blast

B.L.A.S.T. is an informal women’s dinner group open to every woman in the parish.

We meet on the 3rd Monday of each month for fellowship and social interaction at different restaurants in the area.

Join us! Subscribe to our newsletter to stay up to date on B.L.A.S.T. events.

Family Fun Fest

St. Thomas the Apostle Episcopal Church and School’s Family Fun Fest is an annual festival for the community that also raises funds for community service ministries. Come for Arts and Crafts, music, dunk tank, bouncy houses, children’s crafts, Tabletop Treasure, Craft Beer tent, Used Book Sale, fabulous BBQ, pulled pork, sausage, hot dogs and hamburgers with all the fixings, cole slaw, baked beans, potato salad, and a dessert table.

There is also a 5K dog-friendly Fun Run and Kid’s 1 K run that takes before the festival.

If you would like more information about the festival, have interest in hosting a booth as a vendor, or to volunteer for this event, please let us know.

Foyers is the French word for hearthside. It carries the image of a small group of friends or family members sharing a common love and concern for each other. Foyers are small groups, made up of couples or singles, formed at random, which meet at least once a month for a simple meal and relaxed conversation. This is a ministry of fellowship, intended to offer an opportunity to deepen old friendships and develop new ones.  If you are new to our parish, Foyers is a wonderful way to meet and learn more about those of us who have been at All Saints for some time. There is no agenda; we are not a study group. Foyers is not intended to DO anything -just to BE what Christians are…groups of people who love one another. Contact Lila Anderson for more information.

If you would like more information about the festival, have interest in hosting a booth as a vendor, or to volunteer for this event, please let us know.
