There’s no such thing as “too young” to belong here.
We don’t view children as visitors in worship. We see them as part of the church’s life right now. Not someday. Not once they “settle down.” Right now.
So if your Sundays are a little noisy, a little unpredictable, or a little exhausting… you’re in the right place.
We’re not asking for perfect attendance or quiet perfection. Just presence. Join us!
Children are not expected to sit still and disappear into the background of worship or in some “quiet room.” Instead, we’ve made space for them to be part of it.
Our prayground
is located within the sanctuary, right up front, and is a space where younger worshippers can color, play and visit quietly, hold a stuffed friend, or simply stay close to what’s happening at the altar.
It’s not a separate program. It’s worship, with room for childhood inside it.
Faith shouldn’t be something children are kept from. It should be something they grow into by being present.
During the 10:30 service, children through 5th grade are invited into Godly Play: a creative, story-centered way of exploring Scripture.
Through storytelling, wondering, and hands-on response and interaction, children begin to discover not just what we believe, but how faith takes root in their own lives.
It’s not about rushing toward answers. It’s about learning how to listen for God.
Middle and high school students are not an afterthought here.
They’re in a season where faith starts to ask bigger questions—and we make space for those questions without rushing them.
Youth at St. Thomas are invited into a community where they can be known, challenged, and formed alongside peers and mentors who care about who they are becoming, not just what they do next.
If your Sundays feel messy sometimes… good. We get it! We’re human, too.
If your kids wiggle, giggle, whisper, wander, or wonder… you’re not alone.
Just come.
