Art is not something we simply display here; it is something we live with, pray through, and create together.

Within our sanctuary, artistic expression is woven into the heart of worship. A hand-crafted baptismal font and altar anchor our sacramental life, while painted icons invite reflection along walls and quiet corners. An egret formed from reclaimed materials rests near the altar, and a mural of Nassau Bay’s natural beauty draws the outside world into sacred space.

Prayer also takes physical form, through hand-crafted prayer wheels, a candle stand for intercession, the resonance of a singing bowl, and the Stations of the Cross marked by hand-forged nails in a multi-media journey of story and reflection.

Music is central to our worship and shared life. Parishioner-musicians regularly lead services alongside seasonal ensembles. Piano and string recitals, as well as local classical performances, bring the wider community into shared listening and reflection.

A rare 1944 Kimball Opus pipe organ is being restored and will soon be installed in a dedicated loft within the sanctuary, expanding the musical life of worship for generations to come.

Beyond Sunday worship, local artists regularly exhibit in Brumley Hall & Gallery, extending this creative life into the broader parish and community.

Our stained glass, created by our artist-in-residence, shapes the movement of light throughout the sanctuary. Visiting Tibetan monks periodically transform the space with intricate sand mandalas, offering beauty that is both profound and fleeting.

Outside the sanctuary, a statue of St. Francis overlooks a hand-laid labyrinth. A major public art installation, currently under construction, honors Black contributions to space exploration through steel, carbon, and stained glass inspired by the Pillars of Creation.

Here, art is not decoration. It is presence . . . prayer made visible through light, sound, and the work of many hands.
