+ August 24 – Mark your calendars for the 3rd Galveston Convocation Women’s Mini Retreat. Good Shepherd in Friendswood is hostessing this year with St. Christopher and St. Thomas as co-hosts. Our primary assistance will be making the name tags. Kathy Culmer, Bible storyteller and author of On the Wings of Prayer, will be the guest presenter. She is a joy!
+ October 19 is the date for the Fall Festival. We will be asked to help with food serving and support of the many other activities.
+ New this year is the 2-evening Tour of Trees event. Sizzlin’ Sisters have been asked to help with cookies and beverages. Plans are in the early formative stage. More to come as decided. There is a planning meeting tomorrow evening (June 20) at 6:30 at the church. Please come with your ideas and enthusiasm.
+ Looking ahead to December, do you want to share Christmas gifts with the ladies of Brigid’s Hope again or would you like to do something else? Please email me your thoughts.
