St. Thomas at 167th Diocese of Texas Council

Several of St. Thomas’ parishioners traveled with Fr. Mike Stone to the 167th Diocese of Texas Council.  They include Jan and Bob Ketcham, Tom Burns, and Eddie Trlica as voting delegates and Natalie and Mike Brady as alternates.  Also in attendance were Ellen Cook as President of the Diocesan Altar Guild; Garmon Ashby as the Council choir director; and choir participants Ken and Nancy Jurgens, as well as Natalie and Mike Brady and Jan Ketcham.  This council was held at the Woodlands Marriot Waterway Convention Center.  There were about 900 delegates and 100 volunteers to this amazing Council which conducted the business of the Diocese of Texas.  Mike Brady is seen in the attached picture carrying St. Thomas’ processional banner.
