St. Thomas School Celebrates 50 Years!

St. Thomas the Apostle Episcopal School children presented a school shirt to Fr. Mike Stone at the 50th anniversary celebration of the school and church on Sunday, Dec. 6.  Dr. Jackie Kemper, Head of School, invited Fr. Mike to partner with the school to discover the knowledge and love of God, to strengthen the staff and children with spiritual energy at the Eucharist each week, and to wear the uniform as an ambassador for St. Thomas School.  The children sang two songs and led the congregation into the sanctuary at the beginning of the 6:00 pm service.  A very large crowd of former and current school parents and church parishioners attended the service and the champagne and cake cutting afterwards.  St. Thomas School is looking to the future for another 50 years of providing the highest quality education in the Clear Lake area.
