On Sunday, December 6, 2015, St. Thomas the Apostle Episcopal Church and School will celebrate 50 years of presence in the Nassau Bay, Clear Lake, and space communities. Beginning at 4:30pm, current and former church and school members will have an opportunity to share memories of St. Thomas’s past amidst heavy hors d’oeuvres and music provided by the Clear Creek High School Symphony. The Right Reverend C. Andy Doyle, Bishop of the Diocese of Texas, will celebrate the confirmation of 16 individuals, and a renewal of ministry with St. Thomas’ rector, Fr. Mike Stone at 6:00pm. After the service there will be a reception with cake and champagne. St. Thomas is looking forward to a service filled, God centered future and to sharing its journey with others searching for a church to call home.
