This Sunday, we are beginning a special food collection to provide families in the Clear Lake area with a Thanksgiving meal who otherwise might not enjoy one as so many of us do. Over the weeks before Thanksgiving, we will collect individual items for the bags each week or, if you prefer, you may purchase a complete bag of items and bring those in.We are hoping to provide 50 complete meals through our partnership with ICM. Please make this ministry part of your weekly shopping as you feel called.
- October 18 – canned yams & cornbread mix
- October 25 – canned corn & green beans (2 cans each)
- November 1 – mashed potatoes & gravy mix and boxed dessert mixes (cakes/brownies)
- November 8 – stuffing and cranberry sauce
- $10 grocery gifts cards for turkeys can be donated at anytime – we need at least 50
We will gather to assemble bags and add a custom votive to each bag on Wednesday, November 11 at 6.15 during St. Thomas Serves.
