Nearly New Thrift Shop is staffed primarily by volunteers from the Episcopal Church Women (ECW) of St. Thomas the Apostle Episcopal Church.
Some have been Nearly New volunteers for over 25 years. Volunteers perform a myriad of functions and provide countless hours of service, all of which are necessary to the successful operation of the Nearly New.
Nearly New Thrift Shop is an important revenue source for ministries and missions in our community. The shop also supports St. Vincent’s House and Clear Lake Family Promise through the monthly “Great Clothes Out” by making donations of the unsold items
The Nearly New Thrift Shop is a great choice for tax-deductible donations, high-quality clothing and goods at highly discounted prices, and for service. Nearly New Volunteers build lasting friendships, promote excellent stewardship through re-use and re-purposing, create hospitality for shoppers and consignors, and sustain long-term relationships with local schools, disaster relief, and a host of other ministries.
