From first campfire to Eagle Scout: adventure for every age, all in one community.
Founded in 2017, Pack 1965 is our largest and longest-standing unit, led by dedicated parent volunteers who bring adventure, fun, and exploration to life. From camping and fishing to rocket launches, Pinewood Derbys, teamwork, and hands-on outdoor skills, Scouts experience the full spirit of Scouting from the very beginning.
This is where it all begins for boys and girls in grades K–5.
Founded in 2019, Troop 1965 is our girls’ troop and is known for its welcoming, inclusive, and supportive community. Led by dedicated volunteers, the troop embraces adventure: from climbing and caving to horseback riding, new summer camps each year, and even Philmont!
Open to girls ages 11–18.
Founded in 2018, Troop 1966 is our boys’ troop and is known for its strong, active, and adventure-driven program. Led by dedicated volunteers, Scouts hike, bike, climb, and boulder, while also building, launching, and learning outdoor skills through hands-on experience. Adventures have included trips to Bechtel Summit and whitewater rafting.
Open to boys ages 11–18.
Chartered in 2026, our Venturing Crew is the newest part of Scouting @ St. Thomas, built for high adventure, leadership development, and service. The crew is led by experienced mentors and ready to train, grow, and take on serious outdoor adventure together. New members are joining as the crew begins its first chapter of adventure!
Open to young men and women ages 14 – 20.
Troops 140165 and 140017 meet at St. Thomas as part of the GSUSA program, which encourages girls to build confidence, leadership skills, and strong friendships through hands-on experiences, service, and community involvement. Troop 140165 serves Juniors, while Troop 140017 serves Brownies and Daisies.

At St. Thomas, we value personal growth, respect for self, others, and the world around us, and a commitment to service and physical challenge, measured not only in milestones like Eagle Scout, but in the everyday moments of leadership, effort, and character along the way.
