Cub Scout Pack 848, under the direction of Hal Snapp, have been very busy serving others in the Clear Lake area. Their recent community service began in December when they put together about 50 Blessings in a Bag (various food items and water) to hand out to the homeless in the area. Then they put together over 30 care packages for Clear Lake High School graduate and Air Force cadet Collin Thomet and his Air Force Academy squad. Lastly, on February 5 (National Boy Scout Food Drive Day), the pack collected over 350 lbs. of non-perishable food from the Bay Forest neighborhood for Interfaith Caring Ministries. These boys are really learning how to give back in community service to others!
