Saint Thomas the Apostle

Episcopal Church

Caitlin Van Wie, a long-time parishioner at St. Thomas the Apostle Episcopal Church, is a Peace Corps volunteer who is serving in Lamphun, Thailand. Caitlin chose to start attending church on her own when she was 12 years old, was baptized at St. Thomas at 13, and confirmed at 19. She was heavily involved in the youth group and helped to start the young adult group. Caitlin began her Peace Corps Training in January, 2016 and was sworn in as a full volunteer March 21st. She will be teaching English and healthy living this summer in Lamphun. She continues to keep in contact with St. Thomas through weekly Skype meetings with Joshua Orsak, our pastoral associate. We want to recognize Caitlin and all the good work she is doing. (Caitlin is on the right.)
